Comments: This highpoint is on the property of Brown University, but to get to it, you have to go through someone else’s land. The residents don't appreciate hikers walking right by their house to get to the highpoint, so they don't allow access except on certain days of the year. So on Memorial Day weekend we drove the short distance down to Jerimoth Hill and hiked 100 yards along a flat grassy road to a clearing where the highpoint was located. Some members of the Highpointer's Club were there to help, and we stopped to talk with them about hiking. One of the members there was a completer, and he gave us some of his wisdom about hiking the 50 states.
JO standing at the sign that “counts” as the highpoint on non-access days. This is on Route 101, about 100 yards from the highpoint, 3 feet lower in elevation.
JO on the highpoint. The altitude was really affecting us at this point J
BC on highpoint.
